This section contains various projects I completed during my time at University.
Media Activism.
For my Media Activism module, we had to create our own activist project. I decided to make mine on plastic pollution due to the current climate, and use Coca-Cola as my main focus due to their contributions.
I create examples of culture jamming by taking existing Coca-Cola adverts, and changing the messages they were portraying. For example, using Photoshop to edit in plastic bags and turtles inside the bottle to imitate the state of the seas, and creating a hashtag based off of Coca-Cola's current one. The hypothetical aim of the project was to imagine these adverts on billboards and placed around Birmingham, to draw the public's attention.

Collaborative Zine.
For a module called Collaborative Practice, I had to collaborate with students from various discipline to create a piece of work surrounding one idea. We chose to focus on the word 'Dreams', and ultimately made a zine based on the abandoned buildings in Digbeth. Our idea was that the zine would imagine how these buildings have worth to future artists, how they keep alive their previous history from the memories within them. Much of Digbeth is being gentrified and these buildings are being transformed into office spaces, which erases their worth as places to explore. We highlighted the worth of these buildings in our zine, ultimately imagining it as a hypothetical accompaniment to an exhibition hosted at one of the buildings we explored.
I created a poem to be featured throughout, as well as consulting and contributing to the design and guiding the group throughout the process.
I also created a 10 minute script for a short film, as an assessment for my Writing Short Films module.
My screenplay is called 'The Dinner Party' and centres around a woman's missing husband and suspicious hosts during a dinner party.
I created a visually appealing pitch to accompany the script, conveying its genre with the images and dark colours .
